QUICK TIPS - HOW TO MAKE ICE CREAM AT HOME
Ice cream (derived from earlier iced cream or cream ice) is a sweetened frozen food typically eaten as a snack or dessert. DIRECTIONS
- Pour the milk, sugar and vanilla into the smaller, quart sized bag.
- Fill the larger, gallon sized bag 3/4 full of ice, then add the salt to
the ice.
- Place the smaller bag inside the larger bag and close the seal. make sure
you close them both tightly!
- Now shake the bag good and hard for 5 minutes.
- Rinse the small bag off with cold water before opening to keep the salt
water from getting into your ice cream.
RECEIPE :
- 1/2 cup cold milk1 tablespoon vanilla
extract1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk1/8 teaspoon salt1 pint heavy
creamAdd all ingredients to list.
- In a medium bowl, stir together cold
milk, vanilla, condensed milk and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat heavy cream
with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold milk mixture into whipped
cream.
- Pour into shallow 2 quart dish, cover
and freeze for 4 hours, stirring once after 2 hours or when edges start to
harden. Serve or store in an airtight container up to 10 days.
